Website design for commercial printers
Case Study Overview
'Premier Print Group, a leading commercial printer, contacted Business Promoted to redesign and develop its existing virtually untouched website launched in 2008. Our team has combined unique design elements that refer to the industry with an easy-to-use website, content management, and marketing tools for future success.
Background
For around 50 years, Premier Print Group has focused on customer-centric innovation and transformation in the printing industry. Premier Print Group is a quality leader in print, media, and creative services. They provide various services, including commercial printing, fulfillment and distribution, binding, finishing, and promotional products for a wide range of businesses and industries.
Goals
Modern and sophisticated website design
When Premier Print Group clients first approached us for a site redesign, the site was on an FTP platform, making it difficult for their in-house team to update page content and manage page layout. Not only did they need to provide their users with up-to-date design and experience, but they also needed to present their marketplace as a leading professional printing and execution process.
In addition, the site lacks critical inbound and SEO assets such as crawlable blog content, offers of downloadable content, and calls for action. As a result, consistent digital marketing efforts and a clear user flow were absent for different visitor's customer journey stages.
Our strategy in design and web development
Implementing a technical design strategy with a focus on enhanced efficiency
Our redesign strategy aims to facilitate content management and future updates as part of our redesign strategy. We accomplished this by rebuilding the site, where the content can be easily updated using the editor and visual drag-and-drop elements.
As for the site design elements, we wanted to be true to their established brands and logos, so we put brand colors into a whole new page design. In addition, we wished to capture the colorful aspects of their photographic print work, so we used neutral background colors and dynamic paper shapes to prioritize the page content, but there are still dimensions.
We've put together Call-to-Action to improve new blog listings, post design, and tracking for future content creation to ensure the site is set for long-term success and continued marketing efforts. We also did keyword research to improve SEO efforts and increase organic rankings.
Partnership and continuity of project results
Following the successful website redesign in June 2020, Premier Print Group has continued our partnership with a marketing commitment. These include regular content creation, email marketing, and lead generation strategies.
